Raspberry Glaze

Suggested use: Over chicken or pork

 

8 oz (1 cup) Raspberry Vinaigrette

2 Tbsp Raspberry Liquor

4 oz (1/2 cup) Raspberry Syrup

Wisk all ingredients together thoroughly and then set aside till needed.  Use approximately a quarter cup to drip over meat before inserting in the oven.  Save the rest to be used during the meal as a sauce over the meat.  If a salad is part of the meal, it can also be used in place of dressing to compliment the salad with the meal.

Origin of this particular recipe:  We stumbled across this glaze purely by accident.  My wife dripped Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing on her plate, and by happenstance used the chicken she held on her fork to wipe it up.  She was surprised as she bit into it just how delicious the taste combination was.  So, I tried it and was summarily impressed.  We then went through a process of trial and error until we developed, what I consider, the perfect combination.  Now I am able to share it with you.

  1. Tried this. It was the best glaze recipe I’ve tried in a long time. Used this not only on the chicken but also as a dressing over the salad I had with it.

    I would recomend this highly.
